This page is used to search through all of the existing civil case filings. Using the inputs on this page, the user can create queries to be executed against the civil case database to generate a list of cases that match their specific search criteria. There are many different search options available on this page. To perform a search you must choose which filters you want to apply and then click the "Do Search" button. When multiple search options are selected, an intersection is done bewteen all of the filters to come up with one result set. Clicking the "Clear Search" button clears out the current search criteria from the page and resets the page for a new search.
Search Options
Case Number:
Will search for a case with the specific case number provided. Example: 200554321
Parcel Number:
Will search for all cases that reference the parcel number provided. Example: 200554321
Docket Type:
Will search for cases that have a docket that meets the criteria selected. You can specify the type of docket to search for by picking from the drop down list and the date range that the docket was filed by filling in the to and from date fields.
Case Party:
Will search for cases that have a case party matching the selected criteria. To search for a case by case party the user must choose whether they are searching for a plaintiff, a defendant, a garnishees or any combination of the three by checking the appropriate checkboxes. They must choose if they are searching for a case party that is an individual person or corporate party. The user must provide the name of the case party they are looking for. The '%' can be used as wildcards at the end of any of the name fields. The user must also determine which indexes they wish to search for the party. They can choose to search the judgment index, the miscellaneous index, or both. Example: Smith% will yield Smith, Smithson, Smithers, etc.
Attorney:
Will search for all open cases that reference the attorney with the user provided AOPC number.
